当研究室の博士後期課程の片桐さんがFirist Authorとして執筆した論文、”Sodium bicarbonate reduces ventilation without altering core temperature threshold or sensitivity of hyperthermia-induced hyperventilation in exercising humans.”がAm J Physiol Regul Integr Comp Physiol. (American Journal of Physiology Regulatory, Integrative and Comparative Physiology) に掲載されました。

この論文では、炭酸水素ナトリウムの摂取が深部体温や高体温誘発性換気亢進反応の感受性を変化させることなく、換気量を減少させることを報告しています。

この論文は2本目の片桐さんがFirst Authorとして執筆した論文となります！
