Dr. Cotter and Dr. Brendon came to Tsukuba!!

Hello.

Dr. Cotter and Dr. Brendon from University of Otago, New Zealand came to our University from May 15th to 19th.

We are reporting their visit.

 

First, graduate students and researchers introduced their research.

It was a rich experience to discuss the topics and receive some insights from professors that have been researching abroad.

 

We also climbed Mt. Tsukuba.

As Dr. Cotter is used to mountains and pulled us along.

 

On the last day, they presented a seminar.

Both Dr. Cotter and Dr. Brendon worked hard to translate some parts of their presentation to Japanese. It was very helpful and thoughtful!

The week spent with Dr. Cotter and Dr. Brendon was very meaningful.
