We participated in the 38th Annual Meeting on Exercise and Body Temperature.

Hello.

On September 1, 2024, nine members from our laboratory participated in the 38th Annual Meeting on Exercise and Body Temperature held at Saga University. Four members gave oral presentations: Mr. Tomita, Ms. Hattori, and Ms. Takahagi, a first-year master’s student, and Mr. Uematsu, a fourth-year undergraduate student.

Below are the presentation titles and presentations.

Mr. Tomita: Local warming and cooling suppresses the decrease in cutaneous vasodilation caused by prolonged sitting

Mr. Hattori: Effect of TRPA1 on cutaneous vasodilatory response during exercise in the heat

Mr. Uematsu: Effects of ice slurry ingestion before and between exercise on hyperthermia-induced hyperventilation and exercise performance during exercise in the heat

Ms. Takahagi: Effects of carbonated water ingestion on orthostatic stress between exercises in the heat

This was Mr. Uematsu’s first presentation at the conference, but his presentation was so excellent that it did not seem so!

Mr. Hattori received the Grand Prize, Ms. Takahagi received the Excellence Award, and Mr. Tomita received the Encouragement Award.

Congratulations!
