Our paper titled “The blood flow and vascular responses in dynamically exercising skeletal muscles evoked by combination of cold stimulation and voluntary apnea in humans” has been published in Eur J Appl Physiol. (European Journal of Applied Physiology).
This study evaluated the combined effects of cold stimulation and voluntary breath-holding (apnea) on heart rate, blood pressure, blood flow, and vascular responses in skeletal muscle during exercise and investigated whether there is an interaction between cold stimulation and apnea in these cardiovascular responses!
The paper was written by Matsutake-san as first author!
