Hello.
Our paper titled “Galanin receptors modulate cutaneous vasodilation elicited by whole-body and local heating but not thermal sweating in young adults.” has benn published in Eur J Pharmacol. (European Journal of Pharmacology).
There are three subtypes of galanin receptors: GAL1, GAL2, and GAL3 receptors.
Among them, this paper found that the GAL1 receptors partlly regulate cutaneous vasodilation during whole-body heating and that all three subtypes are not involved in the sweating response.
In addition, GAL3 receptors appear to limit cutaneous vasodilation induced by local skin heating.
