Our paper titled “Hypocapnia attenuates local skin thermal perception to innocuous warm and cool stimuli in normothermic resting humans.” has been published in Am J Physiol Regul Integr Comp Physiol.

Hello.

Dr. Fujimoto (Niigata University of Health and Welfare), who is an alumnus of our laboratory, published the paper titled “Hypocapnia attenuates local skin thermal perception to innocuous warm and cool stimuli in normothermic resting humans.”  in Am J Physiol Regul Integr Comp Physiol. (American Journal of Physiology-Regulatory, Integrative and Comparative Physiology).

This study reports that spontaneous hyperventilation, causing hypocapnia, blunts local skin temperature sensation from hot and cold thermal stimuli.

Congratulations, Fujimoto Sensei!!
